This happened a while back, and I haven't been on the board in forever, but I thought you might get a kick out of it.
DH's mom isn't really an animal person at all, which is fine, and she has bad knees. I have never pushed the dogs on her, and when they come over, we usually put a baby gate up to keep them from knocking into her and hurting her kness. Well one of the last times they were over, I had the dogs in the great room, which is a step down from the rest of the house and seperated by a bannister from the adjoining room. DH's mom was standing leaning up against the bannister with her one foot under it and talking to the dogs or whatever. Diesel came up to sniff her and had his front lip curled into his teeth so his teeth were sticking out. When he sniffed her, his canine caught one of her toes and oh boy did she squeal and scream and called him a toe biter. We explained what happened but she still wont get to close to him. Ha Ha how funny.
