Ok, get this - obviously there are no hard feelings, because he kind of asked me out last night! We play on the same softball team and we all went out for drinks...he cornered me and told me he really wants to take me out sometime and he's had a huge crush on me since we first met! He called me "a hot chick" :eek: !! He also asked my best friend to "put in a good word for him".

I'll have to check with Diesel whether that would be ok. Perhaps we'll have to make sure not to come to my place, or else who knows what Diesel might do to him!!

You guys are kidding though, right? I'm almost 29 - I haven't dated a 22-year-old for...god, ten years. That can't be ok, can it?

Hey Cathy, what part of the city are you in? I live in Glamorgan - near West Hills. Maybe we could get a little boxer bash together sometime...I know a few boxer people in town. I promise my dog won't pee on you!

Go for it, girl. Goodness, from the way you were posting, I was thinking you were 59, not 29. Seven years isn't that big of a deal. Besides, if Demi and Ashton can do it, why can't you? LOL. I also agree with someone else... The guy must be pretty decent if Diesel peed on him and he laughed it off. At least you know he is a "dog" person, and that is the important thing. I could NEVER have a relationship with someone who didn't like my cats or my "soon to be" boxer!

aww, 29 is nothing!
my mum married my dad when she was 28 and he was 22, and she (needless to say) had absolutely no problem with it.

Welllll, maybe we'll see. He just seems SO young, and maybe a little dumb, too. I just really don't want to be accused of being a cougar (or pulling a Demi!)! But SO darn cute, and he obviously has wonderful taste in girls and dogs!!

Maybe I'll let him come to the park with me and the furkids sometime - and if there's no further bathrooming on him, I will possibly let him take me to dinner or something!

I would do it! As long as he's not immature. You never know. You're making me feel even older now. I just turned 30 and I'm trying to tell myself I'm not over the hill. I've been married for 10 years but if I wasn't I would jump on it. Good luck and thanks for the funny story!

I think most guys who are single have a bit of dumbness/immatureness (is that a word?) in them until they get a good women to straighten them out . Although it never goes away completely (sorry guys out there)!
