Diesel keeps going #2 in the house - wont go outside.

You also want to clean clean clean that spot with odor remover veryyyyyyy well!!!! If she can smell it, shes going to continue to poo on that spot.
Sky went behind the end table in the LR for ages, til I cleaned the carpet, and used odor remover on it, just because you cant smell it after its cleaned up, doesnt mean she cant. I used a pet cleaner with odor remover by woolite, it does a great job on the carpet, and the smell was gone, she finally stopped.
Also, you might want to move something into the spot where she is doing her poo. This deters them from going there, for example, a wicker basket, or a table.. anything that keeps her from getting to the spot where she goes.

The problem has recently gotten worse. She didnt go poop for a day and a half. I took her outside 4 times in 9hrs (today)...she went pee twice but never #2. Then we had to leave, so we gave her one last chance. She didnt go....But when we left she went all over in her little room -- and walked all over in it. I had to give her a bath and scrub her feet really good. The room was a mess -- poo on the walls. :(
Anyway...any ideas ... why did she wait all day and then go when we left?
Is she doing it on purpose?
She wasn't doing this for the first week and a half that we had her...(2 weeks ago we got her from Central KY boxer rescue)
(Other than this she's a perfect dog)

No, she isnt doing it on purpose, shes doing it because she dont know any better. Never spank her for this. Spanking will only cause confusion for her, however, you may startle her if you catch her in the act of doing it, by shouting "NO!" then take her directly outside.
Adam, My advice to you is to purchase a crate. We used to keep Skyler in her "room" she was destructive, and poo'd everywhere!! She would scratch and dig..We purchased a crate and within 4 weeks, of cleaning out the bottom part of the crate, daily, (ours slides in and out) she learned that you only poo outside. No matter if the dog walks in it, in their room, they can still get away from it. These dogs do not want this on them, and they will learn to hold it, and then their bodies become accustomed to poo'ing when you are home. ( Given the hours are reasonable left in crate)
Do you know if your dog had any potty training b4 you got her? You have to be CONSISTENT
and make her do what you want her to do. NO if's and's or but's. Sure she will have accidents, but you have to keep that eye on her when she walks to that spot where she loves to go poo or pp.
How long do you leave diesel during the day?? I was very lucky in the fact that my oldest child was here during the day with the critical potty training part, but there were still accidents at first b4 school was out. Now, Skyler does great, We leave around 730 am, and i set the house alarm, which is very very sound sensitive..and she doesnt make a sound.. or else they would call me on a 911 call at work LOL! and I am home by 2:00pm. She isnt busting to go, stops to greet the children and I b4 she will head for the door.
Buy a crate, and save your sanity, not to mention your home.

I realize you have an older dog, since you rescued her
KUDO'S to you and your family!! She may take what seems like a little more work in potty training if she was used to going when and where she wanted.
I wish you luck.. just the moment when it seemed like I was ready to give up on my Skyler, BOOM she was trained.. its like a god send.

The People from CKBR told me she was potty trained.
She had zero accidence while staying with her foster mom for over a month. (she has other dogs though - that might work into the equation)
We had her for a week and a half and everything was fine - we left her alone for 5 hrs one night and she was great.
But, now she just wont go.
And what I dont understand is that: Its not that she doesnt have to go! After a day and a half of NOT going #2 you would think she would have gone. (keep in mind I took her out LOTS of times in that period) She never went. And then went when we left...?
Were going to borrow a crate from a friend.
PS-- Some one is allways at home with her. Every once in a while my wife and I want to go out alone. I would say once or twice a week we go out. The maximum time we've been gone has been 5 hrs....(that was the first time -- she didnt poop -- she went outside before we left)
We're usually gone for about 2 hrs. max...and weve only left the 4 times in 2 weeks.

It is hard to break this vicious cycle. Once they start going inside it takes lots of work to break it.
Have you had dogs inside b4? Maybe she is smelling this? or maybe she is being rebellious? Do you have dogs inside now? Im sry Adam, I am trying to help you.. but not sure that I am doing so..:( I just know what has worked for my dog, and that is a crate, I hope and pray that you will see results from this.. if you want more info bout potty training my girl, plz pm me.
