Did you boxer bark when they were little?

Atlas only barks when his dad is leaving for work. He hates for us to leave the house.

I am sure that our poodle, Bailey, taught Ali to bark as much as she does. He barks at EVERYTHING and now it's a race to the window to see what the fuss is all about.

I had a rescue that weas 7 when I got her and she NEVER barked. She would let you know in her terms that she was not happy by talking to you but never a bark. This one thinks he's the boss and it's nonstop. I think it must have been the collie who taught him.

Hope this passes and he quiets down a little bit.

It is almost impossible for me to be able to get my 9 month old boxer to bark. Although lately she maybe getting a little more protective because if she sees something outside she will growl alittle bit but never bark. I often wondered if something was wrong with her because she didn't bark. Also a stupid question what is woo hooing?

For those of you who have a baby who doesn't bark - enjoy it! Bayleigh barks at everything! When on walks, she barks, I think to tell all the neighbor dogs to look at her! Trash blowing across the road.

She has started being a lot more protective lately. If DH isn't home, she is on constant guard duty. Drives me crazy sometimes, she will bark at the smallest noise! DH says I should feel safe, but I know that if someone did break in, she would bark and then hide!
