Dexter is such a good boy!

So our 9 week old puppy Dexter is doing SO well, I just had to share! First of all, he is really getting the bell training down. He definitely still has accidents but he is ringing the bell more often than having accidents, and that's a start in the right direction! Also, he is getting the food routine down. I always fill Lucy's bowl first and then his. After I fill Lucy's bowl, he runs to his bowl and sits patiently and waits for me to fill his bowl. The look on his face is just too cute. I'm having trouble teaching him the "sit" command, because he sits at attention all the time! I have to walk away and get him to follow me just so I can tell him to sit...sometimes he is already sitting again before I can tell him to sit! So we're working on "lay down".

Good job Dexter. I have the same problem teaching our 10 week old puppy to sit since he is always sitting at attention as well.

same here.. wanna teach her to sit.. but already sitting.. always have to move back a bit to get her to stand up.. till eventually touching a wall.. theyre all great!
