I was wondering if anyone out there has a boxer with dew claws on the hind legs?? Lola had the ones on her front removed as a pup but the one back leg has a dew claw. It is very small and we keep it trimmed and smooth so it won't catch on anything. A few times it has ripped out and we have learned how to take care of it. But it doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Sounds as though it may have been improperly removed when she was a pup and has grown back (that can happen if the whole claw isn't removed). The reason for removing them, of course, is so that they don't catch on things and tear. Normally all four dew claws are removed, although there is the occassional 'breeder' who doesn't have them taken off.
