Dew Claws?

Dutch has a scar and thin hair also, I think aussie have longer hair don't they? If thats the case mabey her dogs scars are better hidden...

Yep - my girl has visible scars too. I hope it didn't hurt her. :( Since we got her from rescue, I have no idea who did it or how good they were. Obviously they weren't very good.

maverick has scars too. his are black. i hope it didnt hurt either but they dont remember if it did though.

Charlie Paper has scars from when his dewclaws were removed also. They're nothing major, just part of the guy he is. I'd rather have him have scars from their removal, than have him get a dewclaw caught on have it ripped off. (That happened to my lab back home.)

I suppose Henri technically has slight scars, but you have to look very hard for them. They're not visible (despite having white forelegs), but you can feel a very slight bump where the dewclaws used to be. The vet that removed his did a very nice job

Both my dogs have scars and different vets did them. Maybe it's like people--some scar worse than others.
