I have the same problem with Tyson. He's crated while we are at work and during the night so I feel bad and want him to be comfortable. We give him a stuffed kong everytime he goes in there and he also has toys that he can't destroy and we leave the radio on for him but he has destroyed 3 beds in a year and a half and they're not cheap. We currently took his bed from the living room and put that in his crate and he seems to be fine so far. I think we'll try rotating his toys and not giving him acess to all of them all the time that way maybe he'll have more intrest in them. I wish I could leave him out but we have kitty issues and unfortunantly the cat would be happy to beat the crap out of him all day long. I would definitley put some toys in there that he can't destroy like cuz's, kongs and nylabones (not the flexible ones). Try stuffing the kong so it takes some time for him to finish it and maybe by then he'll get tired and go to bed willingly. Good luck and let us know what works.
