Boxer Buddy
My male 8 year old boxer has that condition where his gums are growing over his teeth. I can't remember the right term for it. The vet wants to put him out and fix this but I am so worried about him not waking up. I could never forgive myself if that happened. I guess if he was younger I wouldn't worry so much. He is healthy otherwise. Does the condition have to be corrected ? What would happen if it was just left ?

Boxer Insane
Ginival hypertorophy left untreated can progress to periodontal disease, and your dog would ultimately lose teeth. In the future, you can prevent additional plaque by feeding your dog recreational RMBs. Good luck ~ Cathy
