I am still hoping somone on here can recommend a good dose of Vit C to start with.

Vitamin C is dosed to bowel tolerance. Too much will produce loose stools....diarrhea.
I originally posted the info you included in your post about the various items we used when my girl was battling d-mange. We started her off on chewable wafers which were 500mgs. Easily broken in 1/2 and she took 250mgs with breakfast and the other half at dinnertime.
To get her started I was using that one 500mg wafer split into 1/4's and gave over 2 days or 4 meals. That lasted about a week. After no issues with her stools I increased to 1/2 & 1/2. She stayed on that for about 6 years and multiple years after the d-mange was cleared up. She liked them and vet said they wouldn't hurt her.
As someone else mentioned, make sure these do not have anything added to them to make them more tasty like artificial sweeteners. The ones I had were orange flavored (naturally) and were quite strong/bitter tasting. I often ate one of her halves after broken in two.

Disneygal - Thanks for the encouragement on the Promeris, I am hoping it will help her. I am glad it is/has worked for you !

Cami - Thanks for the tips on Vit C dosages, I started her on the apple cidar vinegar yest. and I thought I had non-chewable Vit C, but I don't, so I need to get up to the store today and grab some of that or find some without artificial sweeteners and will get her started on that.

She is still itchey this AM but at least she is following me around the house again and wagging her nub. Yesteray she just laid on the floor all day and would hardly move. It was hard because I did not know if that was normal after a treatment or not. I am glad to hear it isn't and will use extra caution on her next one so she doesn't have to go thru it again.

Thanks to all !!!

promeris

Faith never acted sick after her promeris treatments, but if they lick it it will make them feel sick for a while. I'm sure your puppy will feel better after getting any she ingested out of the system. It should take a couple of weeks till you can really see results but I think your going to have a very pretty pup in a few weeks! Hope puppy is feeling better soon!

Hi, we just took our pup to the vet yesterday and found out she has a mild case of demodex. She's also been put on Goodwinol and a immune system supplement wafer called Gluta-DMG. Wondering if anyone has heard/used this product before?
