I am thinking of your family this day and I am truly sorry. Just remember the his life to you was a blessing and even though he is leaving you for now you will see him again at the bridge and he will be free from the pain and happy again. You are truly making the ultimate sacrfice for his benefit. If the love you all shared was not so great, it would not hurt so much. I have heard the saying, we never get over them, we just learn to live without them. As hard as it will be someday his pictures and momories will bring smiles and laughter instead of tears. I am truly sorry.

Cheryl--I saw your post yesterday evening, but did not have the chance to write until now. I'm so sorry you had to help your boy Titus cross over. If you can, take comfort in the fact that he was your boy and not someone else's and you gave him the best doggie life possible and allowed him to go when his time came. He'll soon be looking down on you when he takes a break from romping with all of the other crazy Boxers on the other side. -Becky

With tears in my eyes I wish the best to you and your family. Dear Titus put up a fight for a while and tried his hardest to fight that mean ole cancer. I dread the day I have to make the same decision, but we all know there's an end to every new baby we have, unfortunately. May Godspeed you, Titus, and enjoy the plays and time to reunite with your friends at the bridge, I'm sure it will be an x-mas filled with boxer slobbers and kisses galore there. To your family, try to enjoy the holiday knowing that your baby is in the best place and is no longer in pain. And be sure to give the other baby extra attention in her time of need--for she doesn't know why she's alone now. Maybe a new friend before too long would help her heal
