Dark winter walks :(

I know, Drake usually is doing his boxer burn outside after 5pm, but now it's dark. I don't have time to let him out earlier. I'm going to try to make some changes to my schedule after this weekend Maybe he will forgive me. I think he will

I sometimes get a little scared walking Elvis in the dark but I do meet up and walk with another guy and his dog over the skater park on Hill Rise, but if he doesnt turn up I walk quick and feel really bad that Elvis doesnt have a proper walk, so I try and walk him a little longer on my lumch break, but I am happy everyone else seems to be in the same boat!

he does have a LED Flashing collar so at least people can see him!!

My dog doesn't care if it is day or night, she is just happy when she gets to go out. I guess it's kinda different for some of the ladies, walking alone on dark paths at night...We have a long path that goes from end to end of town where we live.

Even sometimes I get creeped out walkin along some of those paths on a dark evening...have seen alot of nasty things at times, but just keep walking minding my own business. I guess it would just be good to have a walking partner at night, my roomate comes with me alot, so we can get some fresh air and have a smoke!

We're pretty big guys so, we don't really worry about somebody kinda roughin us up any.

So much depends on the owner/handler's lifestyle and schedule...Syd. and I are up until 3 or 4 A.M. and sleep untill noon sometimes even later but that's us and our schedule.

It's winter now where we live...so time to hybernate and get fat and stay warm!
