Urgent! All flea/tick products that are put between pets shoulders
Hi everyone!
I am thrilled that people are on this topic! I just got a boxer and before we got him I was online looking for a dog and found a wonderful website for just what you are talking about. I will never put that stuff on one of my pets again. I've just researched it and found that most all of the ones you put between the shoulders are pesticides. On the package it will tell us humans NOT to get in our skin because it can cause nerve damage yet they want us to put it on our pets right down their spinal cord!!!!! Today at walmart I was looking at the granules that you sprinkle on your lawn and they had the exact same ingredient!!!! NO WAY! My grandkids and pets run across that all the time. they say its ok after it soaks into the ground but i don't believe it. Here is the link:www.blue-hawk.org scroll down to the bottom of the screen and it has a little box with something about hartz products dangerous or something like that and has a great true story and I believe two links. In one of the threads on this forum I found a store that sells natural stuff to combat the flea/tick problem and am going to see if I can find it again. they mentioned something about some kind of earth that starts with a "d" that kills fleas "just like that".
sorry that was so long
