Dandruff? Dander? What do I do?

Wilson has very dry skin, at least that's what I'm thinking. He is always trying to scratch his back on something, anything or anyone. Right on his back near his tail is the spot and he has lots and lots of dandruff looking stuff coming off. Does anyone have any experience with something that works on this?

My boxer Bailey had really bad dandruff, dry skin etc. We switched his dog food to Pro-plan sensative skin and stomach, sure did the job. Give it about 2 months.

I had the same problem with Roxy

Roxy had dry skin at the base of her neck for months, she even received shots for it. But the thing that did her the most good was a suggestion by the vet, that she spend more time outside in the early afternoon. This extra hour made a huge difference in her coat, she is now shiny and "flake free."

Yes, more sunlight can help with coat problems, especially during the winter. A raw egg once or possibly twice a week can also help a lot

It means that there is a forum called 'introductions' and, as written in the email you got confirming acceptance of your application for membership here, the first post you make on this site should be in the introductions forum introducing yourself to the other members. People who don't post an introduction are liable to have their membership revoked.

I don't think I can explain it any more clearly than that.
