Either is okay for me...

I agree with Barbara on this one. I know the White Rock park is nice, but it IS small....and on a Saturday in the middle of the summer? Our boisterous boxers might accidentally trample a poodle or chihuahua.

Either White Rock or the park in Plano will be fine with me. Of course White Rock would be a five minute trip for me from my parents' house. Then again....how often does one boxer get the chance to interact with so many other boxers?

Plano Park

I copied these directions from the White Rock Board.

Take 75..Take the McDermott exit & go west. Go down several blocks & turn left on Alma. The road will narrow down to 2 lanes & you will see a dirt road named Tatum on the left. Turn there. (Tatum is right before the kids play equipment on the left. You can do a U turn if you pass it.) Go down the dirt road to the dead end. Park. Walk across the bridge & take the path on the left for the dog park area.

Susan, do these directions sound familiar?

My vote is to move our bash to the plano park.
Same time and date :D
I think we'll have a better time with more room to play!

Plano it is!

I see no problem with moving the bash to Plano if everyone else is o.k. with it. To tell you the truth, I thought about requesting a location change after I saw how small the park was on t.v. Knowing the energy level of our breed of dog, I think a bigger venue would be more appropriate. Plus, I hear the restrictions are less severe as to collars and food. If it's o.k. with everyone, let's plan on meeting at the Plano Park instead of the White Rock Lake. If there are any objections, please don't hesitate to speak up.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all. Hopefully Titus and Tatum will quit wrestling with eachother long enough to socialize with everyone else. Take care!

Hello,

So you have changed the park to Plano park right, Could you let me know the date. We will be driving in the day before and spending the night I will also tell some of the other boxer owners here in Houston, we meet on the weekends. So far we have had 2 meetings and the boys love it.

Unless I've missed something, we're still on for July 21st. Directions have already been given for the location to the Plano park, but if anyone has any questions, please speak up. And our start time of 10:00am is still on as well. Of course, we have people coming from out of town so we understand that the time aspect is flexible. So here it is in bold print:

Max looks very similar to my baby girl Brie!
She doesn't have as much black around her face but that's about it! So cute!
My schedule is changing so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it, I'm going to see what I can do! If I can't hopefully my husband and Brie can! :(
