That's the Spirit

I like the way you think Barbara. It would be great to come up with a few categories for our little bundles of love. I'll bring plenty of treats. But I warn you, Titus can smell them through an iron box. Titus has taken on the role of personal bodyguard for our newest family member - Tatum. She is escorted at all times by a buxom little boy. Maybe Titus will stray far enough to play with the rest of the Boxers at the bash. We'll see.

THIS THREAD HAS BEEN TOO QUIET!!!

I know Lucas is pre-occupied, but we need to keep the ideas flowing!!!!foundicon
I am trying to convince my parents, who live in Olathe KS, to come visit me around the time of the Dallas Boxerbash so I can bring their two boxers ( and them).
Can I ask everyone a favor? Would you please e-mail my mother to tell her to come to the Bash? Her Boxerworld user name is hilde tuley and her e-mail address is tuleybh@yahoo.com.
I have decided to bring my favorite home-made dog treat, Liver Brownies. The recipe is on my web site. My Boxers will stand on their heads to get these.foolicon appicon foolicon
Do you think it is possible to "guestimate" how many Boxers will be at the Bash????gradicon
Oh!!! This is gonna be fun!!!!!fiestaicon

I think Lucas is always pre-occupied! smashicon

I 'll email your mom and see if I can persuade them. Plus I'd love to get those brownies! So will Betty and Titus.

From the looks of it there may be around 10? I haven't checked it's just a guess. I met some people this past weekend and told them about boxerworld and to look for the boxerbash forum to get information on our bash. Who knows if they have looked, but at least one of them said they were interested.

I would say if we got around 10 Boxers together then that would be a great turnout. partyicon I would like to have some kind of frisbee activity, but I'm afraid Titus will be too focused on his new friends. I'll bring it just in case.

And yes, I'm always pre-occupied, but only because it doesn't take much for my brain to be occupied.

MORE BOXERS!!!!!!

No! No! No!
Ten Boxers is not enough!!!!!!! The Tuley Boxers would be half the population if my parents come!!!!!
You have seen the movie, "101 Dalmations" right?:D I figured that if someone could bring a video camera, we could make a home movie called "1001 Boxers" frogicon  frogicon  frogicon  grin2icon grin2icon grin2icon
AND!!!!! Do you all realize that Alex and Tina will be one year old July 9th????? I think I will make some K-9 birthday cake for the Bash!birthdayic
Frisbees are a great idea!!! However I am warning you. Mama Vicki thinks all frisbees on earth belong to her and she is very fast and competitive at stealing/catching them!!!!smashicon smashicon smashicon
This is going to be a great Bash!!!!!wormicon appicon wormicon

One boxer....maybe two!

I'll at least be bringing one boxer to the bash...if all goes well this weekend (visiting rescue boxers this weekend), and a job interview happens at the right time, I should be settled in Dallas by then (that would mean I'd be bringing two boxers!!!

Cheers,

I hate to burst your bubble, but treats or food of any kind are prohibited at the White Rock Park. I was just on their site and in their rules section this was stated. :(

So have you decided on a date and place. Storri and I (both live in Houston) would like to come Since there is not a boxer bash in Houston, Its not that far and Ash would love it. His b-day is July 2nd so he would be 1 year. birthdayic Your bash soundslike there will be a good turnout. Please let everyone know where and when, so maybe we can come too.

Food at White Rock...

Storri, thanks for the notice on the food. However, I happen to know that we could do the treat stuff a couple of miles down the road at or around Tee Pee Hill, as long as our furbabies remain on a leash. It would be sort of like a progressive boxer bash! fiestaicon There is a big pavillion there, although we might have to call & reserve it. I'll check it out and get back to everyone.

Cheers,

Super Scott......let us know! Not sure why they won't allow treats at the park...kind of strange if you ask me. But I guess they have the rule for a reason ;)
