Hey Barbara, glad to know I won't be alone. The reason I can't do anything this month is because I'm getting married in Oklahoma City on the 23rd, so I'll be up in your neck of the woods soon. My fiance' is from Moore so she pulled rank on me and we're having the wedding up there. There goes the neighborhood. See ya around. :D

I can't do it the weekend of June 30th, going out of town.

But I do believe that any weekend in July will be great.

We can try either dog park. The one in Plano is bigger plus it doesn't have any rules except to pick up after your doggy poos, but to far for some people. The one in Dallas is on White Rock lake. It might have benches and more shade and it's more centrally located but probably smaller.

Personally I don't care which one we go to as long as we have a good time! (that's to you lucas!)

Waiting to hear about interview date

I'm waiting to hear about interview dates with prospective employers, and will let you know as soon as possible what date looks good for me. If I haven't adopted yet, I can at least bring Dani with me. Either park woul be good for me...obviously White Rock would be closer, but I'd be willing to drive a bit for a chance to play with so many boxers and their parents.

Let's say we narrow it down to two weekends - July 7th and 21st. I've already heard one objection for the 14th, so I see no problem in throwing that weekend out. And the 28th just seems so far away. Without getting too pushy, how do these two weekends sound with everyone? Let me know how all of you are leaning on this one.

And I was kind of leaning toward the White Rock Lake park. For one, it makes Susan drive farther (only kidding). And two, like Susan stated, it is more centrally located for us mid-cities commoners. But once again, this is a democracy and I can be paid off. Let me know how you feel on these two dates.

The 7th sounds good. But some people might be out of town for the 4th? I make decisions all the time at work so I give my vote to Lucas. How scary is that?:p

White rock lake sounds good. We don't mind driving because we drive an enviromentally friendly car. Unlike Lucas who probably drives a big a** SUV so he can look cool.

All silliness aside, I am very excited about this boxer bash! I hope we can really pull it off. Then maybe we can get together like once a month?

if we're narrowing it down, I vote for the 7th. Would be more convenient for me, but I could do the 28th. since that's right after July 4th, I thought people may be going out of town.

Lucas, you said your wife was from Moore! My husband and I both are from Moore. Graduated HS in 1991 (me) and the husband in 1988. Wonder if we know her??? Congratulations on the wedding! I hope all goes well.

Dax and I will be waiting on the date to be decided! We'll plan to make a day of it!

Although I don't know yet if I'll be moved by then, I had planned on visiting the parents for the 4th. I'll bring Dani at the very least, and if I have a new son or daughter by that time, I'll see if my brother wants to come along, and then we can bring Dani too!

I would have no problem with the 7th, but once again, I just want to make sure we can get the largest number of people together for this. If the 7th doesn't work out, what about the 21st? I'm flexible here.

Hey janesew, my fiance's name is Ashley Gay - she is also a Moore Lion and graduated in 95. She was pretty involved in pom while she was there. We met down in CanCun on our high school senior trip in 1995. Let me know if you know her. It was good to hear from you.

Haven't been to the White Rock dog park yet, but I talked with quite a few friends who have already been there...beware...there are plenty of ! Animal control in Big D is serious!

While our boxers make fools and/or clowns clowicon of themselves, we can have a fiesta!

I would suggest that we all bring toys, but my oldest Boxer, Vicki, has a strong concept of property. All dog toys on this earth belong to her
Maybe everyone can bring samples of their favorite dog treatpopcornico
I know this is going to be a great time for all
