Here are pictures of Dakota's rash on his belly and under his arms.

Vet says it's not mange, probably allergies.

Vet put him on Benadryl, it looked better for a couple of days but is worse now.

It itches terribly with raw spots under arms.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this and how to keep it away would be greatly appreciated!

Anything I can put on it to stop the itching?

Yesterday his upper lip stated getting pink spots, I guess it is the rash but not sure why the black on his face is turning pink.

See pictures of rash at following links.

Oy ve! I don't know what to tell ya. Did he get into something that he is perhaps allergic to? Poison Ivy maybe? Not sure. Did he eat something bad??? My dog has seasonal allergies, and it doesn't look anything like that. Holy mackerel.

Grumpy gets something similar (although nowhere near as severe) when she lies in the grass in the summer. Tiny pink dots on her belly. Hers doesn't itch badly though, or maybe just not compared to the mosquito bites she's busy scratching! We put After Bite on it (we put it on everything this time of year :) ) and it helps some. Wish I had more ideas for you - poor Dakota :(

we had a black lab years ago that was allergic to grass in the summer.. would break out on stomach...we use to wipe her with aloe baby wipes ...this really helped her...she loved it,and would make one step into house ,flop over for her rub down..

Poor baby! I use Sulfadene on my JRT. He gets raw spots in the summer and it seems to really help his itching. It may not work on the spots under his nose because of the smell. I buy it at Walmart in the pet section. It a yellow liquid that you can put on with a cotton ball.

Weather.com shows, Oklahoma high temp of this month is like Bombay. Cookie also had rashes similar, but not a severe. Pl check if temp is causing problem.

A lot wiggles to Dakota from Cookie
