It's so hard when we lose one of these Boxers. :( The best way out of the funk, like gulfcoastguy said, get another. We had to get Lily a month or so after losing our own Dakota in 2010.

I have not been on Boxer World in awhile and I just saw your post. Please know I know what you are going through. It has been 7 months for us and I still feel the pain of Ms. Ali's loss. Dakota was beauiful and I know you have many, many wonderful memories to hold on to. I hope each day gets a little easier and the pain a little less. Hugs

Last Friday Morning 2:30 am after be had to take him to the ER vet, Dakota's heart, Just Gave out. We knew he was not doing well, that afternoon he collapsed in the yard. I was out of town of course, but I raced to the vets just to see what was going on. They said he had a mass on his heart and seem to be doing ok but heart Just quit.
