Cuddlebug???

Tatum is my first boxer and this by no means is a problem. I have puppysat a few friends boxers but I don't remember if they were like this. Tatum is attached to my side at all times. If I sit down on the couch he has got to be on my leg within seconds!! I wonder if he is like this because he's deaf or if its a boxer thing. If I'm not available to sit with then he goes and cuddles with Zoey(my lab). I was just wondering because its pretty cute.

My boy is a cuddler! Ontop of me, near me, by me. I love it! I think it depends on their personality, but the majority of boxers are cuddlers. Based on what I've read on here

Bayleigh's favorite place to sit is on my lap. Nothing like a 50 pound lap dog to warm you up! If she lays beside me she is touching me as much as possible. If I am standing, she is leaning on my legs! Boxers are velcro dogs!

I agree! Both of mine were cuddlebugs. Charlie a bit more than Topper. Charlie wants to be on me most of the time whereas Topper liked being next to me rather than on me - though there were times when all 85 pounds found their way onto my lap

Both of mine are like that, I call them velcro dogs because it seems like they are attached to me at all times! All the boxers I have ever had were clingy. I will tell you though, Luke (who is deaf) seems to be the most clingy and cuddly of any dog I have ever had! If me or DH are not availabe, he will cuddle with Chloe. It seems as though he cannot relax without touching someone or something!

Macie is the same way... she always needs to be touching you in some way, shape, or form. AND, she walks on me to sit down - doesn't matter when I'm doing. They are total cuddlebugs, we love it!

Clio's new thing is when i'm in my computer chair watching TV she'll put her front paws up on my lap and cry till i lift her up and lean back so she can lay on me and put her head on my shoulder, i have a picture i'm trying to get scanned in so everyone can see.

Rocky is definatley a cuddlebug too. He's always right next to us, if he's not in our laps, he sitting on our feet or leaning against our legs. I have a ritual with him now every morning when I'm getting ready. I sit on the ground in front of the mirror and Rocky will run and jump in my lap and sit with me until I'm done with my hair & makeup. He usually falls asleep. It's so cute! When my husband and I are sitting on the couch, he sprawls out on both of our laps because he want to be touching both of us. It's just the sweetest thing ever!

My little guy Chopper is a cudler. He always has to be touching me some how. I love when he rest his head on my legs when were laying down. Harlie was never much of a cuddler she just thinks shes a lap dog sometimes. Nothing better than 45ibs on your lap

Like everyone else, Jackson is still very much a cuddler. But NOTHING like when he was very little. Everywhere I would walk, he would be between my feet and when i stopped, he'd sit on my feet. Once he got a little older, he was better about being at least a little separated from me, and now he's independent even though he is still cuddly. Actually, i kinda miss those days of sitting on my feet when i walked, but it would probably hurt a lot more with 44 lbs of boy on my feet now!!
