ears
When I got mattie, she had her natural ears, and her tail. It was the cutest thing, but I really really wanted her to look more like a boxer. I had to wait until she was 12 weeks old to get her ears and tail done. I ended up deciding just to do the tail, because my vet was adament about how cruel it was to crop the ears. I didn't want my baby to be in pain, so I just decided to go with the tail. I dropped her off at 8 in the morning, bawling my eyes out, because I knew that was what she had to go through. To my shock, I went to pick her up at noon... went back to the cage to get her, and she was just a wagging that NUBBIN like crazy, so happy to see me, and hardly in no pain. The vet gave me pain meds but mattie never used them. I ended up taking the stiches out myself. I would say it is a matter of personal preference. Mattie has not had one ear infection, YET. Either way, they will soon forget and wag that nubbin and raise them ears either way !! Good luck on making the decision. A boxer is a boxer, and they are all BEAUTIFUL
