Xander's Mom
Super Boxer
Ok so Xander had another 'adventure' today  To begin the story I have been using Oxy Clean to clean the crate trays. (It doesn't leave the oily residue). I have been keeping it on the porch (up kinda high,I thought) close to the hose and in easy access. The screen door was left open on the back porch and he had the bottle knocked over, cap off and was lapping it. I was so angry, not at him but the irresponsible party that left the door open! I freaked, b/c those of you that know- he has had 'problems' w/ eating hazardous things. I called the local animal hospital and they assured me it was nontoxic-I knew it was ok to use to clean the crates w/ but not to DRINK! She said it was mostly hydrogen peroxide and that he may vomit, BUT its what they give to induce vomiting when they eat toxins...so its kinda working for itself.
She said if there is a surface cleaner he could drink-this is it. She said to watch him to be sure, but he should be okay.
What we learned-
1) Re-drill into the heads of family members to SHUT THE DOOR BEHIND YOURSELF!
2) Oxy Clean rocks! We wont use any other (store bought) cleaner-just in case #1 is forgotten AGAIN!
3) This dog may very well be invincible....
