After getting his 1st rabies shot, Blue refused to sleep last night! He has never had problem sleeping through the night, but last night he didnt fall asleep until almost 3 am!! Any thoughts? Could this be because of the shot or just a coincidence?
Maybe he wanted to be sure no one poked him with another needle when he fell asleep. After all, he was just minding his business and being a good boy when it happened the first time. :eek: I really don't know the answer to your question. But hope that he sleeps well tonight.
Wait...I think I might know what it was. We gave him benedryl that night also. I wonder if it had a reverse reaction. Usually it makes dogs sleepy, but I heard that in some it will make them hyper!
