Crazy about the snow and cold

I am in Ohio....WAY cold today, teens and -15 with wind chill. It snowed overnight and early this morning, not alot of snow, just enough to make everything yucky.

I was really worried about the temps this morning when I let Cami out to do her business. I don't remember it being this cold last winter. She didn't have a care in the world. She did her business and proceded to do her one of many regular Boxer-burns. I suppose that it was keeping her more warm by doing it but I would have thought that she would have been freezing. She was clueless to the cold. Running around like a crazy-dog, sliding in the snow and tearing around the entire backyard like it was a beautiful sunny 75 degree day.

She really wanted a walk this afternoon but it was SO cold that I didn't want to chance her freezing her little nubb off, even with her coat on. Tomorrow her new Ruff-Wear coat (christmas present) is getting delivered....maybe we will bite the dust and go then.

Anyone else's babies like the cold? I know alot of boxers like the snow but this is just downright frigid.

Cin loves the cold she loves bein outside period. The cold doesnt phase her at all. SHe does her little bunny hops into the big snow piles

No, thank goodness Herkie doesn't care for the cold at all...it's 18 degrees here, and the wind is blowing like crazy, I don't even know what it is with the wind chill. I think Herkie did his business in record time tonite! appicon But Kuma the Siberian...he thrives in this weather. I hate I don't have a back yard anymore, so that he can REALLY enjoy this weather. But me...I can't take it! I'm off to buy some gloves tomorrow...I swore my hands were going to freeze and fall off!

Diva hates the cold, but Monty couldn't care less. Monty just never seems to get cold! It's not really an issue at the moment, 'cause it is summer here or rather I should say it is supposed to be summer, but it doesn't seem to have arrived quite yet......

Brutus hates the cold. The first time he went out and saw it snowing, he turned and ran back in the house as fast as he could. He still tries to go out and play, but he only lasts a few seconds.

niko loves being outside all the time, i dont think the cold bothers him as much as it bothers me. thank goodness for backyards. otherwise id be and ice cube by now

Thumper experienced her first snow this morning and loved it! Although it is only 13 degrees outside (colder with the wind chill factor), it doesn't seem to bother her at all. In fact, I had trouble getting her in this morning - just kept on doing boxer burns and eating snow ~ Cathy

Titan got to see his very first snow last night. I was worried about him not wanting to do his business in the strange new, cold white stuff but he seemed to absolutely love it! After he finished using the bathroom he just kept boucing and leaping in the snow. He looked like a little reindeer. He'd bury his nose in it, eating, dig it up a bit then burn around in it and boxer bounce some more. He wanted to stay out and play more but I was freezing. What a lil' nut.

Ginger likes the snow but not when it is frigid out. Last night we were -10, with a colder wind chill. She was out and ready to come in in record time!

No my guys don't like the cold although Ryker will go out and do his business, Ozzy just runs out fast and heads right back in. Its cold here today -33, -43 with the wind chill, even the birds are hidding today, at least the sun is out. Supposed to warm up. I'm not as worried about his nub as about his ears.
