Owen is also only allowed blankets with supervision. He distroyed several, and I got worried about obstructions. He is all muscles and bones, and he does fine with an unpadded kennel. He does get a fleece blanket to lay on at bed time (not in kennel.) He doesn't chew it smashicon .

I don't think that it's always a seperation thing either. One day ex-BF put a towel in Owen's crate, while he was home and Owen was loose in the house. Twenty minutes later, Owen killed the towel. Why does he not eat his fleecy? Who knows.
