Boxer Buddy
I am having a problem with my precious baby. Harry is 17 months old and he is just the greatest dog, except when I am at work. I got Harry when he was a year old and he was supposedly crate trained. So I went and got him the exact same crate that the breeder had and tried it out. Well, he broke that one. These are the black wire crates with the 2 latches. So I went and exchanged that one, thank goodness they let me. And if he did not break through that one. When I mean break through, I mean the metal latch was gone. I guess he was using his head to break the door because he had a cut on his head. The crate was the recommended size for him so it was not too big for him to run around in. So for the past couple of months he has been able to have free reign of the house. I have boxer proofed it but he always finds a way to chew on something. We run about 2 miles and play tennis ball for an hour every morning before I leave to go to work. I come home and walk him during my lunch and we run again when I get home from work. (FYI-a boxer is better then any fad diet!) But I am sure everyone knew that! Anyway, he has a million toys and you can see how much exercise we both get but he still seems to get into trouble during the day. I take him to day care once a week as well. Somebody please help! How can I control my baby?
