Count Down!!!!

I'm soooo excited!! Only two days before my big boy comes home. We went to the pet store and spent so much money! We went crazy buying all kinds of toys. We pick him up on Monday and it seems like the days are dragging! Before it's over I'll probably be bald from pulling my hair out ! I still am undecided about what treats to buy. I read somewhere that freeze dried liver treats make dogs go nuts. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?

I don't have any experience with those treats, but get your sleep now! Is he a puppy? When we got starz, after about a week, we were going mental from lack of sleep .

I remember the first day she slept through the night and the rejoice my wife and I had.

I know the feeling of excitement though; congrats and hold it together!! I try to shy away from most treats because they're so unhealthy. I buy a lot of the grain free kinds and really spend a lot of $$ trying to buy only the best. I will say though, if you're going "nuts" and need a little breather; bully sticks. I don't know the rules about bully sticks and puppies (if there are any special rules, so hopefully someone else will chime in) but they're pure "crack" to starz. Some nights when I'm trying to cook dinner or something and she's under my feet, I'll toss her a bully stick and then *poof* silence for an hour.

Boston LOVES freeze dried liver!!!! Petsmart sells them in a big tub that seems to last forever. He also likes lamb lung hahah! soooooo gross to us...yummy ummy to them!

Can't go wrong with freeze dried liver treats. Great for training! Chicken or beef, doesn't matter.
And I agree...bully sticks are a must.

Update!

My baby is now home. He has been with us for 16 hrs now and doing soooo well. He is such a smart boy! He slept thru the night after we let him out at eleven and my husband woke him up and took him out before he went to work around 6. He has a beautiful face and, I know everyone says this but,......HE IS THE CUTEST PUPPY I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! We love him so much. Thank you all for your responses. I bought a bag of beef liver treats and broke it into small pieces but he seemed to have a hard time eating it. It kept falling out of his mouth. Should I just give him the whole piece?

I dont have any experience with those treats so I cant advise but would just like to say that im delighted that your pup is home and doing so well, you will have a lot of laughs as time goes by they are such clowns and sooooo lovable ,

Congrats! And where are the pics? I don't give my dogs freeze dried liver so I can't help with that. I do buy chicken liver and boil it and give them that tho' and they LOVE it!

Congrats! Also, in for pics!! You can't claim the cutest puppy ever and not show us! Haha.

You are very lucky. For the first 3 weeks I had to take my boy out every 2 hours, on the mark. Hubby is a soldier that works hard so I took care of that solely on my own. Just when I started to get grumpy and desperately want a good night sleep, he decided to start sleeping through the night, but boy he has to go in the morning! haha!
