Prancer is 17 months now, and I do not think she has gone into heat. Could I have missed it? I asked the vet and he gave me a video to watch...lots of help (ha ha) it was very PC. Prancer has Addison's so the vet did not want to fix her until she had stablized. Now she is going in next week. But I felt a little foolish when the vet asked about her first heat and I did not know if I missed it.

I think it's unlikely that you'd have missed it. Yes, silent (not evident) heats do occur, but it's really not that common. Conversely, it is very common for a boxer female not to have a heat until up to 2 years of age, so the most likely explanation is she just hasn't had one yet ;)

If she'd had a "normal" heat, I think you'd have noticed. Some females don't bleed a lot and are meticulous about cleaning, but you'd still notice the swelling... it's hard to miss LOL
