My 11 wk old boxer snickers is a cord biter. I have tried bitter yuck, bitter lime, and something called odoban with no luck. It is like seasoning to him. I even got some on my hand and it is probably some of the worst tasting stuff I have ever had lol. Is there anything else people use even something that I could mix up at home and try. I am letting out more on his own and I am afraid to turn my back because he might try chewing some cords. thanx

Hmm my sister had the same problem with thier dog, none of the taste deterents worked it seemed like their dog enjoyed the taste of them. They finally just cut pvc piping and put the cords through that and got child safety covers that go over the entire plug at the outlet. Once thier dog was better trained they were able to teach him to leave it alone but the PVC and safety covers kept the dog from getting hurt in the meantime. Hope this helps.

Here is a good solution - keep the cords out of his reach. ;) It works 100% of the time. Unfortunately, that is what puppy proofing your house is all about.
