Randy, if you are driving then his directions are right. That is the only entrance that I know of. You can't miss it, especially if it is nice there will be plenty of dogs there.

What's the exact name of the park?

Its called the George Bennett park and its in Southbury, Connecticut on Route 67, I believe

I can't find the park. It's not found when I google. Possible it's called something else?

The only name is George Bennet Park. And these are the only directions I ever find online..

Location: Route 67. Directions: exit 15 from 84 right off exit to rt 67 left at light cont. on 67 look for sign that says O&G go left

I'd say coming from Bridgeport is take Route 8 North to exit 22 (bank st) take left off exit. You'll come to a stop sign thats just feet from a stop light and a yield sign..go toward the left to the light..(which will be route 67) follow that straight up..you'll pass Stop & Shop (on your right)..a bit farther up will be McDonalds on your left.keep following Rt 67.

Mapquest has O&G as this address (Rt 67 is called Roxbury Rd I guess)

GRRRR! Carson got into something yesterday morning..(bushes) and he's had runny poo for a few days himself. Thought it would clear up..its a bit firmer but still more pudding like..not fancying taking him in my truck and then running around with runny runny poo!! Can I ever catch a break?? I keep telling him he is not part giraffe and there is no need for him to eat leaves, he just doensn't listen!

I plan on heading to the Park maybe next weekend..hopefully, sooner or later I can catch up w/you all!

Max and family say thanks for a great day. The park was amazing and the people and their dogs were all extremely friendly. Max has never had the opportunity to open up and run full steam ahead for that kind of distance, it was great to see. It was especially nice to meet ken with his precious girl Bailey, Paul and the "great growler" Gillian and the "sweet" Clio and her mom and dad [ sorry but I'm the worst with remembering names and you didn't leave your name when you posted on the thread and also thanks for the tip on the ice cream place, it was delicious]. Hope to meet all of you again one day and wish you and your girls a wonderful summer of fun. Donna: sorry we missed you today, hope Carson is feeling better real soon. Michael and freddy: hope fred is feeling a little better, I'll post info.from today on L.I. thread. Best to all

So sorry I missed it! Carson and Echo spent the day lounging in the sunshine and running around the yard like the devil was chasing them. Carson's poo is firming up but still think I;ll give the doc a call..he's had pudding like poo off and on for a week and a half or so :(

We had unexpected but much welcomed guests, so we had an impromtu picinic, so we had fun..but I sooo wanted to go to the Park and meet everyone!

So tell me..My kiddos are not trustworthy offleash..will we still be able to enjoy the park??

Randy, Patti and Max, Ken and Bailey, and Paul and Gilly, Melissa and myself had a great time at the park and so did Clio, once we got home she passed out and has only gotten up to get some water. Randy Patti and Max I'm glad the Ice Cream shop was great, we went there afterwards and got Clio and Doggie Bone/Ice cream and she loved it. Max is a very handsome, fun running boy always wanting to be in the middle of things, Bailey was such a cute little girl i loved her and held her own with some of the other dogs there, and Gilly was the ever watchful little lady making sure no one messed with any of her boxer buddies . I'm going to be uploading some pics that i took and i'll let you all know when they're up so we can check them out. Next time we meet for another bash we'll have to swap e-mail addresses so we can send each other pictures .
