The weather is crappy up here too (Glastonbury)! I'll keep an eye out though ... keeping paws and fingers crossed that it stops but we're supposed to get thunderstorms up here this afternoon. :(

I know what you mean Donna, i don't mind being in a mud pit, kinda used to it, but i know clio doesn't like getting her paws dirty (she's a prissy girl sometimes) right now in bethel it's like a very fine mist and i noticed it said Thunder showers likely today, but who knows, i'm still going to head up there for 2 and see what it's like, if anything else i'll take clio for a walk or something.

They just hate the rain. And walking the two of them together by myself is a feat in and of itself. The fight if one person is walking them. If two are walking them we can at least keep them seperate and cease the fighting. Just read that its supposed to taper off at 1pm or so. BUT there are thunderstorms that may pop up in the afternoon..they just don't give a time frame for the t-storms..OHHH I want to go soooo badly! Humm. Blizzy! Not so much in looks but the whole grey thing going on. And I'd love to meet you all too! Well if I WANT to go..I gotta hit the shower (I should just wait since it MIGHT be muddy..but you all might prefer I am smelling fresh )..I'll play it by ear.

We're going as well...figure it will be an adventure. We already drove out to Kent this morning just for a ride, so in the adventurous spirit today. We'll see you there....two 20 somethings brown hair female (me, Julie), brown hair male (Mike, my husband) and brindle Layla, we'll be there!

Just came from Oxford..the town next to Southbury..it was pouring and heard a few claps of thunder..my pups were flipping out they hate the rain. I was heading up to Southbury when I decided to stop at the small pet supply store and get my brats fitted for harnesses. (which by the way seemed to have stopped their pulling instantly!). When I was leaving it was downpouring..so I didn't head to Southbury..sorry guys..maybe another day/weekend.. :(

where was everyone?only a 14 year old beagle and a big black lab to play with...we stayed about 45 minutes and got rid of some pent up craziness...umbrellas and some towels and we were good to go...lets try again itll be fun...gilly and paul

Gilly what time did you guys get there? and where were you? clio and i got there around 2:10 after we had to stop off at the horse farm to get directions and wouldn't you know we met another boxer named dolce, we didn't play that long as we wanted to meet you guys. anyway i got off of exit 15 (84 east) and made a left, i then followed 67 and made a left on to 67, and followed it to O & G (on the right) made a right to go down towards O&G and the dog park was on the right, but i didn't see anyone there, is there another entrance? or side? i thought i heard dogs barking but Clio and i walked across the big field to the river and didn't see anyone, then walked up the asphalted road a little ways but turned back. Maybe we were on the opposite sides or there is another entrance to O & G/ dog park? Well anyway, lets all try this again maybe next weekend? i'm free and i know clio is, she had a blast running around that big open field.

hey bri we were there from about 140 till 217(we looked at the clock) it sounds like we just missed you guys how sad...and another boxer too...i better not tell gilly she will be very upset...how about next sunday?weather permitting!!!paul
