Conjunctivitis

My 7-month-old female Boxer Chloe has Conjunctivitis. Giving her eye drops twice a day has become a tremendous effort. The vet has no problem giving her drops when we're at the office but it is impossible for me. Is there anything I could do to make it easier?? I've tried having my boyfriend hold her while I give her the drops & nothing works. Does anyone else's boxer have allergies like this?

I'm looking for the same answer! Bella's eyes have started producing some serious eye boogers yesterday and this morning so we took her to the vet and he said it is Conjunctivitis. We just gave her the first set of drops and oh my goodness...what an ordeal! My husband held her the first time and I fear she'll hate us forever. She squirmed away for the second eye. I finally decided to just hold one of her treat sticks right over her nose and squeezed the bottle right over her eye...a few wasted drops but we finally got it and it was less traumatic for all of us. I don't know what else to do! I hope this clears up soon...

Can I ask how does the vet do it at the office? Ours didn't show us.
