Boxer Pal
Has anyone heard of the congenital renal disease that can occur in Boxers?
There is a well known UK Boxer breeder who is also a Geneticist, that is carrying out research to try and identify the gene responsible for this awful disease. We have taken part in this research as Katie has renal disease. At first it was thought she was too old to be affected as most of the Boxers do not survive beyond 12-18 months. Then there was another older Boxer like Katie who has survived beyond expectations and thus we took part in the research
Last June we lost our eldest girl to Liver disease and in January we learnt that over the past year Katie's renal disease had got much much worse, it was like a double blow and came far too soon after losing our girl in June 10
