It would be great to get together, I don't know of any good dog parks in the Denver area, Denver has not been a very dog park friendly place. Let me know. I am worried that we may be out of town on the 24th and 25th but I am checking on it.

That is what I get for checking this site late. You have already found a place just a little outside of denver. Let me know what time would be best and we will try our best to be there. Thanks!

Cassius and I would love to come. He needs a fun outing as I was just in Mexico for a week and he was very sad while we were gone. Unfortunately, he got pepper sprayed by our mail lady, so he was even a sadder dog. (I don't know what gets into him when the mail person comes! It's really weird, he acts like the most vicious animal only to the mail lady). Anyway, we live pretty close to Cherry Creek Reservoir and sounds like a lot of fun. He is very playful, so I am sure he will have a great time with the other dogs.

Details, details, details.

Okay guys, details for the first ever Colorado Boxer Bash are as follows; the bash will be held at Cherry Creek Resivoir on Sunday August 26 at 1:00 p.m. It will be held in the off-leash dog area in the southern part of the park. To get there drive south on the main park road from the east entrance station and park in the lower parking lot for the 12 Mile House picnic area, keep your boxer on the leash until you get to the dog area boundry marker (500 yards) or you can head west on Orchard Ave., off Parker Rd., for about a half block to a small parking area. I sent out invites via e-mail to all those who's address I have so if you did not get an e-mail from me R.S.V.P direct to me at kljaeger@hotmail.com by August 18. I am waiting to hear from alisonCO, CLC in Colorado, PeteM, DeborahMcKown, and anyone else who lives in driving distance (I live 5 hours away) If you got an e-mail invite from me please use that to R.S.V.P. There will be doggie cake and treats for us humans. I can't wait to meet you all!!!!!Kate

I have the date on my calender! I really wanted to go to the HoBo Rescue picnic also, but will probably only be able to come to one bash that weekend. Thanks for putting this together, Bailey and Rileys mom (I wonder if it will be weird once we all meet and know each others "real" names:))

Hip Hip Hooray!!

I am getting so excited guys, I even borrowed a friends digital camera so we can take lots of pictures and post them after the bash!

AlisonCo-what is your e-mail address, I need to send you a "formal" invite, you can e-mail me at the address below.

traciehammons-did you figure out if you are going to be able to make it or not? E-mail me at kljaeger@hotmail.com so I can send you a formal invite.
