Boxer Insane
So, would Harley be considered a check or is the brindle spot not big enough?

I am not sure exactly where you are talking about, near the rear. Occasionally you will a Boxer with a finger of white the creeps around their stifle or thigh. There should be no white on the torso proper which mostly means on the sides or true rear of the dog. One of my girls does have a finger of white that just creeps around her leg. It worried me a bit because it is a mismark. But there are so many things to judge a Boxer on. I would say Structure and Balance are much more important than a mismark as long as it does not detract.Originally posted by Titans world
I have a question. As I have read through the breed standard I do understand what colors are allowed and what is what. My question is a lot of boxers that I have seen may have a little bit of white right by their rearend. Is that ok...because I never really here anyone talk about that.
I suppose if it were very distracting (I know of a very dark reverse brindle with such a marking, and it does kind of 'shout' out at you!) it might detract from the overall appearance of the dog, but I don't think it would be any more distracting than pink testicles....And there are several successful champions with those.
