Hi everyone,
Wasn't sure if this was the most appropriate place to post this question....but I am filling out the AKC registration form and am wondering about the color question. Bella is fawn with a black mask, but has white on her chest and toes. The form lists:
Black Mask
Black Mask, white markings
White markings

I think she is "Black Mask, White Markings." But I am not sure if this question is pertaining to only the face, in which case, she'd only be "black mask."

Silly question...but I'm sure one of you experts will know...

Thanks!!
:)

the little cutie looks fawn w/ black mask to me. I believe white markings refer to flash, and bella sports a "classic" look. ;)

She is a doll!!! The pic where she is sitting all innocent with her bed all chewed up behind her it one of the funniest pics I have seen in a long time! Thanks for sharing!

I tend to agree that the white markings refer to the face and/or neck, or possibly high leg markings; nearly all Boxers in the US have white toes and chest. Of course, there is no "official" designation, so it's all a matter of opinion, anyway. :)

I agree with how Kat worded it. My Max is a flashy (white collar, white up the legs) and is registered as Fawn, black mask white markings. But my brindles having no flashy white markings were just registered as brindle, black mask (even though they have a white chest and white toes).

Thanks everyone- that's what I thought, but just wanted to make sure. And thank you all for the very nice comments :) I just love my baby Bella!
