An easy to digest bland diet would help. And make sure water intake stays good as they can lose a lot of fluid through the bowel. I had a cat with it, and it's misery for both parties, owner and animal. I treated her mainly with diet- *no* grains. Also make sure to keep a regualr worming program and be aware they can have stressed immune systems, too (more suceptable to catching illnesses). Try a raw diet, but be careful with bones. You may want to go with meat and bone meal and avoid gassy veggies (cabbage family, brocoli)
