cold wet/ dry warm nose

Is the boxer's nose supposed to be cold and wet all the time or is it normal that it varies and is dry and warm once in a while?

Thats a good question. and ive often wondered myself. One of my boxers always has a dry/warm nose and when hes not feeling too well it turns wet and cold. The other one always has a wet/cold nose and it never changes. I suppose it doesnt really matter as long as you notice the change?
