Close call yesterday (whew)

Without going into great detail about how my house is set-up...
Cheyenne (6 mos. old now) got loose in the front yard and bolted across the road. I live in the country, but the road get's busy in the afternoon, speed limit is 45 and most do 55.
Thank goodness a vehicle wasn't coming.
She got to the nieghbor's yard across the road before she became confused and ran back, then I tackled her in my front yard.

Just happy I still have my little goof-ball this morning, and I'm getting ready to go hardware store for the automatic door closer...

Very glad she is ok! We had a similar issue a few weeks ago with (thankfully) the same end result.

I'm glad you and doggy are ok! Emma did something simular when she was a puppy and I thought my heart was going to give out - it's difficult to try to keep a calm voice for training when two seconds ago you thought they were going to be smushed...
