I kept my 6mth old grandson Sat. night & Cletus just knew that baby was his, he had to be close too him & wouldn't take his eyes off of him! Cletus goes to the babies house & never really pays much attention to him other than a sniff. But this was different he was at Cletus's house & Clet was like can we keep him Mom!He gave the baby all kinds of wet kisses! When my Daughter came & picked him up, that really upset Cletus, he searched the house over for his baby! Cletus just knew he was ours!

My daughter's family lives downstairs and when she brings my grandson up he belongs to Max. If Riley tries to get by the grandsom Max is on guard and herds her away from him. It is so funny to watch. When the baby goes back downstairs Max will look and look for him.

Its so amazing how they are drawn to babies, Cletus is so big abt.85lbs we have to watch him close, he wanted to lay his head on the baby & snuggle with him. I know thats my fault, because I have always snuggled with him & he does this to me & he thinks he is no bigger than a lap dog, but believe you me, he is a Hoss! I call him my little snuggle bunny!LOL

Fletcher is such a people person, but when he comes around kids he is in ALL his glory. He just adores them. We have four kids ages 8, 7, 5 and 6 months. Fletcher of course loves them all but when it comes to the baby, I honestly think that he believes that is HIS baby. When someone he doesn't know comes around the baby he is on full point guard. His stance is beautiful. If someone is brave enough to make a move toward the baby, he bars his teeth and steps in front of the baby. He is fine with people once I have introduced them to him and show him that they are not a threat, but I still have to pick the baby up and pass him to the new person, they can't pick him up on their own. Another time my older kids were outside and the mailman he had never seen before was talking to the kids and he went straight through a screen window and put himself between the kids and the mailman, teeth showing and nasty growling. Once I went out there and showed him the mailman was not a threat he was fine. They are old pals now. He's quite the babysitter!!!!

Every boxer should have a child of his own LOL!! Good for Cletus, it's so sweet of him to share his grandbaby with you.

What a good boy you are Cletus.....My youngest is almost 2 now but when he was 2 weeks old he had to go back to the hospital for 2 weeks. Poor Thor was beside himself. He was used to having afternoon nap with mom and baby, when Cameron (my son) wasn't there Thor would run between his crib and my bed whining for the baby!!!!!
