clenching jaw

Hi, ever since we can remember as charlie falls asleep he always repositioned his mouth and jaw a few times before he was comfortable. This week, he started really clenching his jaw and grinding his teeth. Don't know if it's conincidental, but he's also had some ear infections too on and off ....do i think they are related, or something more serious.

does your dog to this?

Tooth grinding can be a sign of pain, so it may be related to the ear infection.
