Cincinnati Playdate?

Codie is going to be six months on the 10th. He is about 35-40 pounds. He plays with my parents yorkie and daschound, but now they just start to run from him. When I bring him around bigger dogs that aren't normally aggressive, they tend to snip at him, but that's because of the boxer box and hug they do and I don't think they appreciate that. So that makes me nervous to take him to a dog park still being small in size, but I don't want him to miss out on the fun and socializing. He is not fixed yet, husband told me not till a year old, so females might not be a good choice. I live in Cincinnati. So let me know if your puppy needs a friend.

Our Odin is about 6 mos old too. We love to make more Boxer friends! He loves to play with other dogs, but like you, we find that other dogs aren't always appreciative of the enthusiasm of boxers. We are north of Cincinnati.

My Jerzey girl will be 5 months tomorrow. She hasn't gotten to play with another boxer since we got her from the breeder. Perhaps after they are neutered/spayed we could have a playdate. I am from the Cincinnati area but currently live in Aurora, IN (not that far from Cincinnati.)

where north are you of cinci...my parents live in west chester...yeah I tried to let him play with a lab today and that didn't end well...they don't like the whole hug thing boxers do, but I feel sooooo bad that he doesn't have a friend to play with...and i always want to take him to a dog park but I think that would end badly

and yeah I suggest they both get fixed don't need any unexpected puppies from a play date.

codie isn't fixed, but we live in Colerain right next to you. I odn't have a yard so I usually take codie to the park for a walk or my parents to run in thier yard.

don't know if you have a fenced in yard or want to meet at a park first but I am up for anything
