I have always loved the holidays but having Mason has made it much more fun. We had a great morning setting up the tree and placing the presents under it. Mason has to be right in all the action "helping" us out taking the decorations out. Mason also likes to unwrap his own presents so when he saw us putting the wrapped presents under the tree, he decided to run over and start unwrapping them! :eek: I guess we'll be leaving the gifts in a closet for now...:D

Maxymillian didn't even seem interested in the tree last year... I wonder how he's going to react this year since he's so much older and so much more spooked about everything LoL.

I am so mad I didn't have my camera handy. Although I was too busy trying to get the presents I didn't even think of it!

we put our tree up this weekend, I was kind of afraid how Ginger would react, but so far no big problem. We moved it to a corner instead of in the front window where we used to put it beccause Ginger loves to jump up in the window(it's a bay window) to see what is going on outside and especially when someone comes to the door. She would have probably knocked it down if it were there. But so far all she's done is grab a couple of low hanging (unbreakable) ones from the bottom of the tree and run with them! We tell her no, redirect her and it seems to be working pretty good so far!

Because of our house situation, we aren't putting up a tree this year, but I'm anxious to see how Mugsy reacts to the tree at my parents'. He was only 8 weeks old last christmas, so this should be interesting this year.

Mason's okay with the tree but he thinks the presents are his. Last year was the first year I wrapped his presents. Before that I hid them in the closet and gave them to him Christmas morning. He had a blast unwrapping last year and I guess he thinks the presents under the tree are for him! :rolleyes:
