It was Gus' first Christmas, so they got extra toys. I usually get Izzy plenty of toys, but I went a little crazy this year. The ones came in a pack of like 8 or more toys, so they each got a pack. Izzy's are the pink ones and Gus got the leopard print. They also got other toys that aren't in the pictures. They also got TONS of treats from all our doggie friends! Izzy opened everyones gift for them, even for my Mom's dogs gifts, a cocker spaniel, Coco. Gus didn't really understand what I wanted him to do. Later, I let him have one without Izzy around, and he opened it all by himself!! I told him he needed to learn how, since his 1st birthday is in one month!!! I wrapped all the gifts last night, and I left my room, and a bag of them fell down. I was downstairs and heard rustling. I came running up and Izzy had one open! Silly girl. She never does anything, so I thought it was cute! Here is a picture of some of the toys they got.

I also found these cool dog toys that are a boxing glove... they both got one, but they liked to just play together with one.

Looks like Santa was extra good to both Izzy and Gus :)

Both of your dogs are beautiful, but that Gus is absolutely gorgeous.

Great Photos of Gus and Izzy Looks like your two had a wonderful Christmas thanks for sharing.. Layla got the same stocking as Izzy I recognized the pink elephant. Cody got the same stocking full of toys but his was the blue stocking and we also had the same boxing glove.. It was Codys but... when the two of them played tug o war with it.. it ripped and now its just a unstuffed boxing glove but they loved it.. I almost got another one at Wal mart because they loved it so much.. and you don't find too many boxing glove toys out there such a perfect boxer toy.. I loved your story about opening the presents.. way to Go Gus I'm sure you'll be ready for your 1st Birthday .. Izzy your a professional present opener now if Mom could teach you how to wrap them.. :LOL: ~ Vickie, Cody and Layla

Ya, I got the pink ones and the leopard print ones in a stocking at Walmart for under 5 dollars! I figured if they tore them all up, that was ok. I bought 4 of the boxing glove toys, also from Walmart, cause I thought it was the coolest thing. I got one for both of them, and then one for 2 boxer friends we have. Their other toys were from other places. I always check Petsmart this time of year, because they put all their Christmas toys on clearance! They usually are super cheap if you wait long enough. They haven't torn either boxing glove up yet, but they have destroyed some of the other toys playing tug-o-war. They are having so much fun doing it though!
A friend gave them this toy, it's like 2 tires wrapped around a bell, a little bit bigger than a tennis ball. Gus gets sooo mad at it. He just barks and barks at it. I don't know if he wants the bell out or what his problem is. It's funny.
