Christmas for other boxers

I just have to share an idea . Considering all of the displaced people and animals from the hurricanes in my area our family changed our ordinary Christmas traditions this year. It has been very hard to get in the spirit this year. Instead of buying the furbabies more toys and clothes, we decided to make a donation to a boxer rescue. They are in such need at this time of the year. I am so greatful that I have a home and my furbabies that it was the only thing that made sense this year. There have been so many fund raisers for the hurricane victims. The boxers rescues need funds too. I just thought I would pass this idea on to all the boxer lovers. I know alot of boxers were rescued, and I thought they needed something for Christmas.

I have not been on the board lately because I have been real sick.

I think this a wonderful and generous idea--in the true spirit of Christmas. I am sure a rescue would be so grateful, and so will the poor, sweet boxers waiting for a home with someone as caring as you. Merry Christmas.

That is a great idea and if I didn't have a wedding in the future sucking up all my money I would be all over that.

FH and I were actually talking and to make us kiss at our wedding we have a plinko game, there are 6 spots 3 hearts to kiss, a 1, 2 and 3 we could not figure out what to make those spots. Until now, what ever number it lands on will be the dollar amount to be donated to our favorite charity, The Boxer Rescue of Ontario, so were hoping to earn some money for our favorite breed.

I will be donating next year, this year were on a budget.

I read this last night and was very touched by it. This morning I put a check in the mail box for the rescue in Houston and Austin. If anyone is interested in doing this...it is never too late.

What a good idea. I wish we had a boxer rescue closer to here, but we dont. I just bought some toys and gave to the local humane society along with a check to pay for needs for any boxers they get in.

I know that the Arizon Boxer Rescue(Boxer Luv) could use donations if anyone doesn 't have one close to them. Animals were sent to so many states after Katrina and Rita hit our state. I am sure any place there are animals in need could use supplies and donations. I am so glad to hear that there are people that are willing to help.
