Boxer Pal
Hello , many years ago i brought my newborn son home to my 5 year old boxer , i put the baby on the floor next to the dog and i gave the dog time to explore the baby , from that time on they were the best friends , the dog died when my son was 6 years old and all those years my son was always number one for my dog . Four years ago my granddaughter was born and 3 months later i was the proud owner of my lovely boxer called Face and i,m so happy , they also are very close . And again for my boxer also the child always comes first . The best advise i can give to you is , whatever you do with the baby , feeding , bathing etc.let the dog be a part of it . Boxers are nosy , and besides , they like to be a part of it . I wish you all the best and a lot of happyness with your baby and your boxer . Love and best wishes from Holland . Ivonne .

Dearest Ivonne, your post came in real handy! I'm 37 and a half weeks pregnant, and am sometimes wondering what it will be like when I bring my baby girl home to my other 3 babies!!!partyicon partyicon

I hope everything goes well! I know Osacr the Boxer will b nor problem coz he just loves children... Cleo the cat doesn' give a d*m about anything or anyone that cannot feed her or pet her, so she won't be a problem. It's Mollie I'm more worried about. My boyfriend had her when she was just a small puppy and was all alone with her for 2 years. When I came into their lives, Mollie and I had a hard adjusting period... She was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous of me! Then, we added Cleo... Another jealousy fit. And then came Oscar: jealousy fit, but since it was a dog, she was like a mother to him, but she would acting differently with us for a time.

I pray every day that everythong goes well coz I love them all to death...

Wish me luck!
