What kind of dogs did you mom have? Why did she want to give them away? I am sorry Harley lost his friends. he must be sad.

A good romp at the park will be good for him. We are in Evanston. Is there an address I can use to mapquest it?

It looks like the weather has taken a turn.... again! Lets try getting together on March 27th. That is a Saturday. The dog park in Oakbrook is called Greyslake Dog Park. I kind of forgot where it is exactly. Can someone help with directions? Please respond one way or the other if Saturday the 27th is okay. Thanks.

my mom had a golden retriever (16 months) and a weimeraner (3 months). she got rid of them because shes dumb and lazy. her husband went out of town for a week for business, and so she was left to take care of them, which he always does. after 3 days, she decided she couldnt handle it and got rid of them. even though shes had the retriever a year...

anyway, better get back to the boxer bash subject before a moderator says something.

im pregnant and the 27th is my due date. well, it was, but they moved it to the 26th. either way, my last chance at a boxer bash in the next few weeks is more or less gone, but count me in if anyone does anything in may or june.

OK guys!!! Trixxie and I are REALLY excited to have found this thread. Yes, we're in North Carolina right now, but my brother & his wife are in Grays Lake, and I may be visiting them soon!!! I will now be watching this thread daily, and when I have definate plans to travel north, I'll see if anyone would be up for a Bash while I'm in town!!!

How cool to have so many people who want to participate!!! Trixxie is going to LOVE it!!!

Oh this Saturday doesn't work for us, hubby and I are celebrating our 1st anniversary this weekend! We'll have to catch the next one. But the Oakbrook dog park is the park Trinity and I go to every weekend! We love it there! There's several boxers that are there every weekend that Trinity just loves to play with! The park is right off of 31st, on St. Paschal's drive. Have fun everyone, we hope we can make it to the next one!
