My babies, Mollie and Buster (11weeks) are constantly picking up and chewing ANY thing they can get in their mouths. This is very annoying when trying to walk them. Is this normal for pups at this age?

Very typical. My girl at nearly 2 still does it. We have taught her the "leave-it" and "drop-it" commands. If she is heading near something I will say leave-it, or if she gets it before I notice I just say drop it. And then of course, praise her for doing what I asked.

Ronin is almost two years old and does this all the time  We have a lot of tree's on our property and there is no shortage of sticks/wood for him to find! He does know the "leave it" command and he's really good about obeying it. The only time it doesn't work is when he's found a "toy" in the yard and he's prancing around with it like it's his trophy

this is the problem I am having with mattie. she is obsessed with rock's. and she will stare at a rock for an hour. she will not let any other dog near her rock.it concern's me cause I am afraid she might eat one. I alway's tell her drop it and she will but she will stare at it until I walk away and then it is back in her mouth
but no stick's

Dozer is 7 months and does this all the time.He knows the "Out" and "Leave it" commands and obeys instantly when told. He loves when I trim the trees, but doesn't wait around for it. He will dig under the trees and chew off a root or two to prance around the yard with. Make no mistake he likes rocks too. He grabs them and tosses them all over the yard. When I throw them away when I mow he digs up a few more. I don't worry about it too much. Just try to suppy him with plenty of "good" things to chew on and keep him as occupied as possible when he's outside.
