I have had the same problem with my white boxer. We changed his food to wellness fish and sweet potato and i add some boiled chicken to that. Since doing that we have had very little problems with ears or feet. He does still get a little red from time to time and when he does that i give him a benedryl. Switching foods was the best thing i could have done for him tho. His were so bad he gave himself a hematoma on his ear and had to have surgery for it. His feet were a mess and vet bills were getting to be once a month! They were ready to put him on predisone for life and i really didnt want that for him due to the side effects. Its worth it to try to see if food helps i beleive..and fish as posted up there is one thing most boxers arent allergic to. He now has a beautiful silvery white coat and im always getting comments on how soft he is..

Must be a common problem. My white boxer Molly has had the same problem with allergies. Went to the dermatologist two years ago for the allergy tests and she recommended Benadryl. I give her three in the a.m. and three with dinner. Not really helping much - her feet are just raw. Then for a couple of months it goes away, and then comes right back. I tried putting little socks on her feet, ha ha. That didn't last long. Both of my boxers are eating Canidae which they really like and it's one of the best foods, but maybe I will try the Wellness. Anything is worth a try. If someone could come up with a solution they could make a bundle selling the secret.

Could the infection in his ears transfer to his feet when he scratches?

I haven't had this problem but thought of it as something that hadn't been mentioned yet.

I had this problem with my fawn female, we switched food to Solid Gold and she never itches anymore, I know that foods can play a big part in it, as everyone has said, but for us that I believe was the problem. That was four months ago, and no problems since. Good luck
