Cheeks!

Wondering if anyone else's pup had a noticable discovery of cheeks? Sammy's have started getting caught on her teeth regularly... she'll look up at me and one side will be caught up in her bottom teeth. She'll act like she can't figure them out, chewing a little, then will shake them back into place. Too funny.

yup both mine get their top lips stuck in their bottom teeth. I always try to get a pic but they fix it too fast.

Titan's catches on his teeth on the left side all the time, I call him Elvis then. He has big floppy cheeks and I love them, I call him my "squishy cheeks."

I absolutely love it when Beau is patiently waiting for his dinner and his lip gets stuck above his tooth. He looks at me like, "Mom, what is so funny? Can't you see I'm hungry here?" It's just so darn cute and he doesn't even realize what's going on!

I love it when this happens, Sometimes if Elvis has been in a deep sleep and you call him he looks up and his chops are all wonky !

My fiance calls it "fanging". He says "Tess is fanging me!"

It's funny, because at first, when they're puppies it doesn't look like their cheeks will ever get as big as they should. I remember my boyfriend looking at jasmine and asking me if she'll ever get the big droopy cheeks, I kept telling him eventually. Sure enough now she has the long droopy cheeks. At first Oscar didn't have them either, but now he does and his always catch on his cheeks.

This same thing tends to happen to ABBY a lot. When it happens around a stranger, they usually step back and say something like, "Your dog doesn't to like me." or "She's getting ready to bite me.". I always tell them not to be afraid, that it is just her way of smiling at them.
